Cool Wings
James spends a blistering summer’s day sculpting a hummingbird from his walk-in freezer.
Stills from the film
As he carefully carves his vision, he reflects on the life he’s shaped for himself.
He must kill the perfectionist. Remove the stress. Master the ego. Only then can he tap into the sense of play that allows him to enjoy his craft.
As his creation is slowly set free, so too is the talent, the humour, and the passion that sees his work soar to greater heights.
