About six months onto real sets, in production, camera and lighting, or post. £150 a day for every working day, a mentor from the crew, and a route onto the roster at the end.

Questions
What crew usually ask first.
Are you hiring staff?
Mostly not. Almost everyone on our jobs is freelance, booked per job. If a staff role opens, it will be listed on this page.
How often will I be booked?
It depends on the work that comes in and on your role, and we won't promise a number we can't guarantee. Core roster members are called first.
Do you pay travel, kit and prep days?
They are agreed per booking and confirmed in writing before you accept it, so nothing is decided after the fact.
What is the trial day?
A paid day on a lower-risk job, alongside someone already on the core roster. It tells both of us whether the fit is right.
Do I need my own kit?
Not for most roles. Where a role is booked with kit — a sound mixer with their own package, for example — the booking says so, and the kit is paid for.
How long before you reply?
Within 10 working days, and you will hear either way.
When do you pay?
14 days after we receive your invoice, whether or not the client has paid us.
