Read from the show's own YouTube analytics on 23 September 2026. The audience is the show's — its host and its guests make it, not the company that films it. June 2024 is when we took over producing and cutting every episode, and this is what the channel has done since.

The brief

Capture and deliver the video podcast end to end — a full-length episode for YouTube, an audio version, and the social cutdowns around both, made to the same spec every time and on the schedule the client sets.

What we ran

A four-mic, three-camera studio build: two HD packages and a 4K package on matched bodies, switched live through an ATEM Mini Pro ISO with a director's monitor-recorder alongside. Four podcast mics on their own recorder rather than into camera, and a two-light setup with a lantern and a dome. Cameras matched by brand, mics pop-filtered, stands sandbagged — the boring specifications that stop episode nine looking different from episode two.

Post

All of it, and it is the larger half. The ISO feeds and the separate audio recorder are assembled into the long-form episode — host piece-to-camera in, ad breaks structured with the gap left for insertion, outro and disclaimer on the end. Five shorts are cut out of that. The audio version is built as its own thing rather than stripped off the video, with an intro voiceover recorded with the host. Guest stills are selected and delivered for thumbnails, and each episode carries new music. Every episode moves through the same nine stages against its own asset ID.

Result

Running since June 2024, and the channel has done 7.3 million views in that time — 86 per cent of every view it has ever had, at about three times the monthly rate of the fourteen months before. The show earns that; what we hold up is the consistency underneath it. Every episode goes through the same nine stages — from card to delivery — tracked against its own asset ID, which is the unglamorous reason episode forty looks like episode one.
